Growing older,
A lot Wiser nonetheless.
Gracefully aging,
Maturing mentally, I confess.
Shared smiles and tears,
Not carrying around the past mess.
Welcoming a new year,
My age I’ll leave to you to guess.

Adonis was thy face,
Achilles was thy grace.
I still feel your presence here,
Unaffected by time or fear.
Of what feelings is that of Juliet’s Romeo?
For love is eternal and death is mortal.
The Songwriter
A special dedication.
The power of the pen’s ink,
Showers through my song’s word.
It’s unlike what you think,
It’s a voice never been heard.
Feelings and emotions are but measured,
But my song shall be forever treasured…

Why the confusion?
When a person you admire gets admiration of too many and that gets you jealous…

Why the words made a difference?
Once a total stranger, said to me,”Stay blessed.”
It’d seemed so long ago when I was, in such a way addressed.
It turned back time to a forgotten memory,
A little girl, full of energy, like that in a story….
Having fun; when all so suddenly,
She had run too far away from home…

Crushed!
The unexplained feeling..
She’s got a huge crush,
Not so sure as much,
If this emotion’s worth feeling.
I caught her eyes stealing…
A glimpse of me, through the subtle disguise,
If they knew, her friends would be so surprised.
I know not why she harbours this emotion,
It would start between her lover – an unwanted commotion.

Catchin’ Up
The funny feeling.
Stumbled upon an old acquaintance / friend.
Not that I recall we talked much those days.
Got lost in the conversation and tend
To all the past dusk and sunshine rays.
Not knowing if I could recall why
We hadn’t known each other all the while.
